My home is mostly automated. All lights & sensors are connected using the ZigBee protocol to a Home-Assistent hub (python based).
This allows me to make my home Smart. It’s a fun hobby.
In the past i’ve worked with Z-Wave and OpenHab (Java based). But happy with my move to Home-Assistent
